A performance presentation.

Dance Studies Association Conference, Malta, Saturday 7 July 2018.

In this work we address and discuss the ways in which conflict has challenged – and made possible – our collaboration. Our presentation is built on un/shared belief systems that invite difficult conversations about “conflicting perceptions, interpretations, and values”[1]. We reflect on and renegotiate key moments in our choreographic practice where racial antagonism is recognised as productively divisive for our aesthetic aims and working relationship.
